It is based on a real life case study describing events that really happened. It requires two teams of ideally up to six members. The teams are issued with the same initial background information describing the problem - what has happened.

They are however each given extra DIFFERENT information from the different points of view of those involved in the situation.

For the best and quickest results (finding the cause of the problem) teams need to follow the classic steps to problem solving - gathering information, either from a tutor, who “sells” it to them, or from the other team via negotiation.
